Our standard backleads are used to clip onto your line after you have cast out and are designed to slide down to pin your line to the deck. If fishing a water where your catching on multiple rods, using backleads will give you peace of mind that whilst playing a fish the line on your other rods are on the deck and out of the way. The other advantage of pinning your line is to prevent birds feet from getting tangled as they pass over your rods or spooking passing carp as they leisurely cruise around.
